Chewy, now retired from the show ring is still the highest winning Akita to hit Queensland. He is a multi Best in Show winner and the first Grand Champion Akita in Qld.He finished off his final points to his Grand Champion in Style with 4 Best in Show Awards. He has been a delight to show, and he is enjoying his retirement being the King of his Castle. Now 10 years young he is still super sound and still has the presence and look at me attitude.
His show career has been very fulfilling, with some of his wins being;

Best in Group at the Toowoomba Royal 2001 & 2002,
Best of Breed Brisbane Royal 2003
Queensland Dog of the Year Finalist 2003

Donella is our new exciting, much anticipated arrival at Pinemist. We were fortunate to be able to travel to Scotland after attending Crufts this year and choose this stunning RAR (Ruthdales Ready to Rule- BOB Crufts 2007 & Currently Number #1 Akita UK) puppy at 6 weeks.
She has the presence,personality and the WOW factor that we were looking for to continue our passion for showing dogs -after the retirement of our Multiple Best in Show Grand Champion Knobe Chewbakka.
