Dog parks
Brisbane City Council maintains special areas in some parks where your dog can run around leash-free.

Facilities
Most dog parks include:
fencing
water
bins to dispose of dog droppings
shaded areas and seating
Some dog parks offer special activities for your dog from April to October.

Owners' obligations
When using dog parks, make sure:
you can control your dog (for example, will return to you when called)
your dog is not a nuisance to other dogs and their owners
you dispose of your dog's droppings in the bins provided
your dog is wormed regularly and its vaccinations are up to date
