"Elmo", a beautifully bred male from the famous Van Sapho's Hoeve Boxer Kennel in Belgium has joined us here at Boxberry. Elmo's photo above is at 16 months.

Aside from being a Beautiful boy, Elmo has a very special characteristic: a natural, inherited short tail (bobtail).

Elmo has sired 9 litters thus far and we are extremely pleased with the results. He is consistently producing puppies which have lovely typical Boxer heads with correct muzzle proportions, beautiful eyes, expressions, lip placement and mouths. We are looking forward to seeing what Elmo produces to our English lines and other lines in the future. Elmo is the sire of the first Bobtail in the world to be awarded a Best In Group (Group 1) - Boxberry Sweet Surrender "Zoe".

His progeny in the ring have included Boxberry Sweet Surrender, Boxberry St Elmo's Fire, Imoen The Dream Begins, Imoen & Imoen Dreams Come True, all of which have won at both Specialty and All Breeds level. A few more Elmo progeny will be exhiibited in the near future, we wish them the very best of luck.

Elmo is available for stud duties to selected bitches, terms for Elmo's use will be discussed prior to any matings. Elmo is available in both Sydney & Melbourne (i.e. he comes to you) by prior arrangement (for the cost of my fuel). Elmo does carry the red gene, and he comes from fully health tested lines and has been heart tested clear.
